Our Story

What is Playsum?

Playsum is a community platform for gamers to find friends who play the same games you do. Our platform was born out of the passion and determination of our three co-founders, who were tired of witnessing the spread of hate and toxicity in gaming communities.

As former Trust & Safety executives, our Co-CEOs wanted to create a safe and inclusive space where everyone could find friends and enjoy the games they love.

Playsum has two core products, a community platform where you can find friends based on your shared games, chat 1:1, hang out in communities, and social live stream. And the Playsum Games Store, curated with the best games for you, supporting underrepresented indie devs & planting a tree for every game sold.

I've been gaming since before I could walk, and as a leader in Trust and Safety, I grew a team to 140 people from 25+ countries. As a Queer person, I'm passionate about building inclusive communities.
